The pattern is designed for long circular needles and the magic loop knitting method, which makes it easy to get even stitches and a professional look.

The slipper is knitted from the heel, where half of the stitches are placed on a thread while the rest are knitted further into the sock itself.

Then the star toe is shaped, which gives an elegant and symmetrical finish.

Finally, the stitches are picked up around the opening, knitted a few even rounds, before an i-cord bind-off provides an elastic and decorative edge.
